Engaged in 2020 by the new owners, our design vision focused on an entire refurbishment to optimise all public areas and guest bedrooms. The client’s wanted to introduce an element of sophisticated elegance, envisioning “a touch of Mayfair in Strangford,” while simultaneously maintaining a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere to resonate with the local community.
Acknowledging the locations seasonal tourism and the need to appeal to year-round residents, the final concept elegantly blends classic styling with rich colours, tactile finishes, and a curated selection of eclectic art and accessories. The final design possesses a timeless quality and an inviting warmth, achieving a successful balance between formal dining and casual comfort, appealing to a broad clientele.
