The Grand Hotel, Brighton

We were privileged to reimagine the guest bedrooms at this iconic 160 year old hotel, a true ‘grand dame’ of Brighton hospitality.

Our focus was to blend classical architectural accents with contemporary luxuries, creating spaces that resonate with loyal returning patrons and new guests alike.

The core objective was to design high-quality guest rooms that honours the seafront location of this historic establishment. Capitalising on the breath-taking setting, over a third of the rooms offer uninterrupted views, which was a key aspect for the design.

The new hotel rooms are a testament to comfort and quality. They feature thoughtfully designed bespoke furniture with elevated details, complemented by curated accessories and artworks, each contributing to a personal feel within each space.

Working on a project like The Grand is an extraordinary opportunity. As a historical building, it carries a rich legacy that demands respect and careful consideration. It’s an honour to be entrusted with redesigning such an iconic space while preserving its original character. Every design decision is a balance between honouring the past and creating a contemporary experience that will carry this building through future generations of use.
