Luxury refurbishment for a commercial office reception

We were briefed to create a cool and dramatic reception area that would feel both impressive but welcoming in this large city centre office.

The owner developer wanted to create a bold and smart-looking reception area in order to attract more tenants to this substantial office building in Belfast. The furniture and fittings and finishes needed to be stripped back to the bare bones and replaced with something much more chic while still feeling corporate.

The finishes in this design include a grey marble tile, polished plaster walls in charcoal and grey with brass details on the signage lettering. Italian brass and glass pendants in the entrance and lift lobbies, with carpet inserts and bespoke paintings all add the strong corporate feel, with a significant touch of luxurious style. A large illuminated back wall with timber detail and brass letters creates a robust backdrop to the marble and brass reception desk. A simple raised coffer ceiling added drama to the open space. A mix of leather and fabric statement furniture dress the space and add weight and interest at the low level.

This is a very successful redesign, bringing a cool sophistication to this large office building, creating a significant impression the moment you enter.

Starting with an end goal to create a bold and smart reception area, we worked with a selection of finishes including marble, polished plaster, timber, brass and leather. Tailored lighting, distinctive branding, furniture placement, foilage coupled with architectural detail presents a crisp stylish and sophisticated reception. Creating a significant impression the moment you enter.
